SPEAKERS
Aimee Brooks
DVM, DACVECCS
Dr. Brooks received her DVM from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed a rotating internship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and then was a practicing ER veterinarian at the Wisconsin Veterinary Referral Center in Waukesha, WI. Subsequently, she completed a residency at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and became board certified in 2014. She is currently an associate professor in small animal emergency/critical care at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her interests include transfusion medicine, sodium/electrolyte abnormalities and fluid therapy, and point-of-care monitoring modalities such as
ultrasound.

Katie Phillips
DVM, DACVR
Dr. Phillips obtained her DVM from Michigan State University in 2008. She completed a rotating Internship at the Southwest Equine Medical and Surgical Center in Scottsdale, AZ followed by an internship at Ross University in St Kitts. She completed her residency in diagnostic imaging at North Carolina State University. She is currently an associate professor at UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.

Hanging Bridges Tour
Travel to the heart of the rainforest in a circuit of 2 miles (3.2km) and 15 bridges, you will have the opportunity to observe many bird species, 3 types of monkeys, land mammals, different types of snakes, amphibians and one of the richest biodiversity on the planet.
