Dr. Scotti was the first criticalist in the upstate of South Carolina and was instrumental in establishing the first Emergency and Critical Care specialty in the area. She quickly rose within her role as criticalist and eventually became the Emergency and Critical Care Director at her practice for over a year. Missing the action and care for her patients
Dr. Scotti is back full time as a criticalist at Fetch Specialty and Emergency Center in Greenville, SC. Her passion for teaching led her to hold many CE lectures for technicians, ER doctors, and local veterinarians. Her current clinical interests include polytrauma, sepsis, acute kidney injury, and hemodialysis. Dr. Scotti is driven to provide high quality patient care to all help patients and thrives in the recovery of critical and
challenging cases. Outside of work, Dr. Scotti loves spending time in her garden and creating flower arrangements for her friends and family. She loves trying new restaurants with her
husband and traveling whenever possible. She currently has four dogs, two cats, and nine chickens to keep her busy.

Dr Brown received her veterinary degree from the University of Georgia and worked in small animal private practice for several years before returning to UGA for a residency and PhD in clinical pathology. Dr. Brown remained on as a faculty member at UGA where she served as a diagnostic clinical pathologist, instructor, and collaborative researcher. Dr. Brown then joined a busy 24-hour hybrid practice as an on-staff clinical pathologist. There she sees a wide variety of diagnostic submissions and enjoys playing an important role at the interface of diagnostic testing and patient care. Dr. Brown has always been passionate about delivering continuing education around maximizing laboratory testing, and she now holds an additional role as Chief Veterinary Educator for Antech Diagnostics.
Recover CPR Lab
6hrs CE credit for veterinary professionals only (Veterinarians, Technicians, Assistants). This is a workshop designed to teach the hands-on skills of CPR from compression techniques based on size and body type to EKG rhythm interpretation to defibrillation practice and the “megacode” – realistic scenarios with a team run simulation. This is a highly interactive workshop! You will come away knowing more about CPR and feeling more prepared for your next code. Completion and proof of RECOVER online BLS/ALS required (separate from registration fee!!). Refunds will not be issued if you do not qualify at the time of the class.

Everyone in the veterinary community! Our world class continuing education is targeted to veterinarians and technicians but anyone from reception to kennel techs and students are welcome to attend.
Non Vet-Med guests are absolutely welcome! There is an extra charge to include your guest on the group excursion – please email us to inquire after registration.
Registration cancellations are available up to 60 days prior to the start of the conference. $100 of the course registration is nonrefundable in the event of any cancellation. Within 60 days of the conference, refunds are not available, but you may transfer your registration to a future conference up to 30 days prior to the start of the conference. Within 30 days, or if you fail to attend after the start of the conference, no transfers are available and you will forfeit the registration cost.
