Matthew Brunke
DVM, DACVSMR
Dr. Brunke (DVM, DACVSMR, CCRP, CVPP, CVA) received his DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts, graduating in 2004. He received his certification in rehab in 2008 from the University of Tennessee CCRP program. He is also certified in pain management (IVAPM) and acupuncture (Chi Institute). He completed the practice experience pathway for the American College of Veterinary Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation in 2017 and passed ACVSMR boards in January 2018. He is the medical director at Veterinary Surgical Centers Rehabilitation in Vienna, VA. As a diplomate of the VSMR college, Dr. Brunke believes in a big picture and practical approach to his patients, and enjoys both orthopedic and neurological cases. When not at work he enjoys running with his dog Penny , and hiking with both Penny and his Husky mix, Aurora.

Micah Bishop
DVM, PhD, DACVIM
Dr. Bishop obtained his DVM at Ross University and completed a combined PhD and Internal Medicine Residency at Texas A&M University. The focus of his PhD was in small animal gastroenterology at the world renowned Gastrointestinal Laboratory (GI lab). He currently operates his own mobile internal medicine and tele-ultrasound services. He formerly worked in private internal medicine practice and was also a staff internist for AIS reading ultrasounds for 5 years. He has published over 19 peer reviewed manuscripts, 42 abstracts, and numerous other publications and is currently writing for an upcoming IM textbook. He continues to be a scientific reviewer and was recently a visiting professor at RUSVM. His primary interests are ultrasound, IR, and gastroenterology although admits his recent interest in echocardiography as well. Dr. Bishop spends his free times growing mango trees, numerous tropical flowering plants, boating/fishing and traveling from his home in SW Florida. He enjoys speaking on case management and practical advice for GP’s.

Tours departs from the Paradise Island Ferry Terminal, slip# 7, located directly behind the Margaritaville, Paradise Island restaurant. A Seahorse Sailing crew member will be there wearing a Royal Blue shirt to greet you, check you into the tour and escort you on to the waiting catamaran. We ask all guests to please plan to be at the designated departure location at least 30 minutes prior to departure time.
